"Padmavati" the goddess queen everyone knows about now......

"Padmavati", a name not many people knew about few months back has now become one of the most trending name everywhere including news channels, newspapers, social media, youtube, etc. This is because of the bollywood movie "Padmavati" directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. 

           

Why is the movie "Padmavati" trending?

This movie was in news since the start of its making. In January 2017 the set of this movie was destroyed and the director, Sanjay Leela Bhansali was assaulted by the Rajput Karni Sena on the sets of the movie. Few more incidents occured after that in order to disturb the making of this movie and such incidents are increasing as the release date is approaching. This movie is set to release on 1st December 2017. 

The attacks which took place were from some Rajput groups, who have objections from this movie. Some of the reasons why this movie is being opposed are, 

1. Many people claimed that this movie has a dream sequence portraying romance between Rani Padmavati and Alauddin Khilji, but the movie makers have clarified that they don't have any such sequence in the movie.

2. Some other reasons are, that the movie makers have meddled with the history and that the costumes used by Deepika Padukone do not go with the Rajput culture.     

           

In this chaos nobody knows whether the movie will hit the theatres or not and if it does then will it proceed peacefully or not.

But one positive outcome of all this according to me is that, now everybody including today's generation will come to know about the sacrifice of the brave queen Rani Padmavati and the other men and women.
